What a wonderful new place to stay in Northern Ireland! Karen and Johns creation is long overdue and We were delighted to have found a new place to stay that is more five star boutique hotel. We stayed for only one night (sadly) in Room Three which is one of five on offer. The standard of fittings, design and comfort is outstanding all calm and coastal. What an amazing bath!The fire in the breakfast room is like a snuggly rug to welcome to in and entice you to stay. The glassware and delicate artisan crockery just whispers a discreet message we care about our guests, we have chosen everything with love and we want to you feel at ease. The breakfast spread was gorgeous and Karen and John were delightful. One Shore Street strikes a wonderful balance between engaging with people if you want, yet being left to your own devices if thats your preference.Donaghadee is an interesting coastal village with plenty to see and do with a good range of restaurants we were lucky enough to find The Lighthouse (also a newcomer) rather than what we originally planned. Guest parking is free right outside One Shore Street on the road which sees a little traffic but really not much, and at night virtually none. Only half an hour from Belfast City Airport one of the easiest airports to negotiate.We could not recommend One Shore Street highly enough. And value for money? Yes yes and yes.
